Weather Anchor Ella Dorsey took time out from the new WGCL (Atlanta) morning show that is centered around her, to pitch a local cookie company.

Most companies have policies that forbid talent from pitching products and doing commercials for friends.

Obviously, WGCL’s owner Meredith does not.

Then again, this isn’t the first time at Dorsey has put down her news hat and put on her influencer hat.

What has happened to Journalism?
