Christmas came early for TV stations in Georgia.

After making millions of dollars on the 2020 election, a January runoff for Senate is keeping the back open for TV stations.

The money being spent in the special election is breaking all kinds of records and Georgia TV stations are kicking off 2021 with a financial windfall that they did not expect.

But, there are stations outside of Georgia that also cashing in on the special election.

Records show that Senate candidate Jon Ossoff is spending $53K for a week's worth of ads on WYFF. WKFF is in the Greenville, SC DMA has only 4 small counties in northwest Georgia. But, the station is still making money on the runoff.

Financial records show that Ossoff is also spending money on WTVY in Dothan, Alabama. WTVY only serves one county in Georgia and that county has a population of just 11K.

Crazy….
