And Then This Happened.....

The Anchors at Tegna’s WQAD (Quad Cities) thought they were in a commercial break, they were not.

The anchors gave the right-wingers some ammo as they dumped on Trump while thinking they were off-air.

Note: Looking at this, it may have been a web stream. I can’t believe a station would not see the mistake on-air. Either way, not the look the station was going for.

In fairness, nothing that the two anchors said wasn’t true, but I’m guessing it still wasn’t the look that Tegna was going for.

One viewer complained to the station on Facebook and got this reply. I’m guessing someone is going to be in trouble.

Another example of why, if you work in TV news, you don’t voice your political opinion.
