Atlanta Station Finds its Deuce

We told you back on December 1st that the station had taken the job listing down.

Sources inside Meredith’s WGCL in Atlanta say that the station had some trouble filling the Assistant News Director job at the troubled station.

Between the station’s reputation and COVID insiders say it wasn’t exactly like people were lining up for the job.

But, it appears they have finally guy their hire.

KIRO (Seattle) EP Brian Kanziger is the new Deuce at the Atlanta station. Kanziger was at the Seattle station for 8 years. KIRO just got a new News Director and it appears Kanziger was not sticking around to see what the future holds?

He now lands at WGCL and to be honest, we’ll be shocked if that job last 8 years.

But hey, you never know, right?
