Why Are You So Pushy?

Tegna’s KSDK (St. Louis) seems to be a bit pushy when it comes to sending out push notifications to viewers.

One viewer shared his stats and it shows that the Tegna station sent out 33 push notifications in a single day.

I don’t know about you, but if a TV station is going to bother me with that many push notifications, I’m deleting their app ASAP.

BTW- here is a screenshot of the front page of KSDK’s website. I don’t know about you, but I don’t see many stories posted on here that are worth pushing out alerts on. And I certainly don’t see 33 of them.

I mean yes the “Northern Lights may be visible farther south than usual” but I’m not sure I need that “breaking news” right now.
