Just Keeping Them Honest

Yesterday, FTVLive told you that Nexstar’s KDVR (Denver) posted this boasting of their “exclusive video” of the land burned by a massive fire.

But, as FTVLive told you, the station was the pool on the story and they shared all the video with all the stations an hour before they posted the attached Facebook headline claiming exclusive.

”It’s not exclusive if you were assigned to shoot and share with every other station in the state,” said one insider.

Well after FTVLive posted the story, KDVR went back to social media and updated the post, taking out the word “exclusive.” You can bet the house if FTVLive didn’t call them out, they would have never come clean.
