Longtime WSMV (Nashville) Investigative Reporter Nancy Amons is calling it quits.

Amons says that she is signing off from the Meredith station on December 1st.

"It's been a fun ride," Amons stated in a news release. "The news business has certainly changed. When I first started at News4 in 1988, you left the building with a roll of quarters and stopped to make phone calls at telephone booths along the way to set up your next interview."

Now, she will be replaced by someone that the station can pay in quarters. That is if they replace her position at all.
