Meredith’s WGCL says that when Joe Biden is sworn in as President, Twitter will give him the handle @POTUS, taking it away from Donald Trump.

Which of course makes perfect sense, since Joe Biden will be the President of the United States.

WGCL posted the story on Facebook (to talk about Twitter) and added the comment, ‘Thoughts?”

Here are my “thoughts,” why are you asking for thoughts? I don’t remember you asking for thoughts when Twitter moved the @POTUS tag from Obama to Trump.

“Thoughts?” has become an easy way to try to ramp up engagement. You post something that you know people are divided on, and then add “Thoughts?” in which you know there will be a response and a lot of hate thrown back and forth.

Sorry, but this is not Journalism it is just baiting people and in a country that is so divided right now, you as a TV station should be better than that.
