When the Cable News Station Doesn't Know
/You would think that in America, everyone should have the right to vote and that every vote should count.
But, clearly, Donald Trump does not think that way.
There is no doubt that Donald Trump and many in the GOP are doing what they can to try and suppress voters in some areas.
From trying to get votes thrown out, slowing down the mail, and making it harder for people in depressed areas to cast their ballot.
It is worse when the people that are tasked with giving viewers the news about voting and the election, are not informed either.
Watch this clip from Fox News and see how even Anchor Martha MacCallum doesn’t know what’s going on across the county.
Fox anchor: Let me push back on the idea that voters are suppressed. What about voter dropboxes?
— John Whitehouse (@existentialfish) November 1, 2020
Clyburn: South Carolina doesn't have dropboxes.
Fox anchor: My understanding is every state had them.
Clyburn: We tried, the legislature said no.
Fox anchor: I stand corrected. pic.twitter.com/oAMDY8iEwB
Also, there is no voter drop off boxes in North Carolina, Missouri, or Tennessee.
And there is this:
You would think that everyone, including the President would want every person to have a fair and easy chance to vote and have their vote counted.
Look at what is happening in Miami. The mail is piling up at the post office and mail in ballots are just sitting in boxes and not be delivered.
This after Trump named a top supporter to head up the post office.
One of the biggest stories this election is voter suppression being carried out by Trump and many Republicans.
Fox News as all but ignored the story.
And they aren’t the only ones.
