Dress for Success?

WLNS (Lansing) Sports Director Audrey Dahlgren did not like the fact that she was getting called out for a dress that she wore on the newscast.

So, she decided to double down on her duds on social media:

As someone that wears shorts and a T-shirt on almost a daily basis, I am the last person to give fashion advice.

But, I do remember when I first became a Reporter and got this advice. “You should never wear something on air that distracts the viewer from what you are saying.”

If a number of viewers take notice of your outfit, in either a good way, or a bad way, it’s a good bet you shouldn’t be wearing it on the air.

Just saying….
