One TV newsie doesn’t think Trump’s life after the White House will be anything like people are predicting….

Email 1:

Within 30 minutes of Joe Biden's swearing in on January 20th, Trump could possibly be served with warrants and subpoenas from Cyrus Vance and the New York City District Attorney's Office in Manhattan. The civil charges won't, but some of the criminal charges may land Trump in jail, at least until he bails out. Tax evasion is a headache, but that wire fraud thing is a stone bitch.

He could try to leave the country, only to find his passport revoked.

Everybody is seeing a future with Donald Trump in it, but personally I don't see Trump's future extending past the next 6 months and then only in 6-month increments, so it's probably not a good idea to speculate over him taking over news networks, running the Republican Party, or even taking another run at the presidency in 2024 just yet... although they can indeed run, last time I checked, convicted felons don't make good presidents..

Reacting to KSAZ (Phoenix) Anchor Kari Lake….

Email 2:

How does management at the station let Lake continue to anchor the news?

Clearly, she is not objective, overtly biased and many of her own co-workers are trying to distance themselves from her.

Does she have pictures of the News Director in a compromising position?

Lastly….

Email 3:

Scott,

I have been reading FTVLive for well over a decade and I am still amazed at the stories you break and your grasp of the industry.

You have many news executives that love your work and many others shaking in their seats. When I started reading FTVLive, I was a lowly Producer and now I’m a News Director. I have learned so much from your site as to how to treat employees and what not to do.

Keep up the great work and keep, keeping them honest.
