CBS: No Raises For Anyone

President and CEO of Viacom/CBS Bob Bakish sent an email top the employees saying that any merit raises are off the table, so don’t be expecting one.

Many at the CBS O&O’s have seen their pay cut over the years, so the email from Bakish kind of landed with a thud.

“I have been given a raise in 8 years and both our main Anchors had their salary cut when they signed new deals,” said one CBS employee to FTVLive.

While CBS continues to make cuts, top management has not cut their pay as what has happened at other networks like Fox and other media companies.

Needless to say, the Bakish came as a surprise to no one that is working at CBS.
