Word is that ESPN might be planning to make huge cuts at the network.

No word on exactly how many employees are expected to catch the blade, but sources say it will be in the hundreds.

Many of those expected to get whacked are behind the scenes people but look for some on-air talent to also lose their job.

Word is that some high priced talent will be asked to take a salary reduction.
