ABC News Staffers to Self-Quarantine
/On Saturday, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie announced that he had tested positive for the coronavirus. The news was just another shoe to drop in what is turning out to be infecting much of Donald Trump’s inner circle.
The news about Christie sent waves through ABC News.
Christie is an ABC News political analyst and spent a lot of time on set for ABC News' post-debate coverage Tuesday.
Now, many ABC staffers have been asked to quarantine and be tested.
ABC sent out these tweets about the Christie news:
ABC News president James Goldston sent an email to a stressed staff, saying it part:
"We're continuing to take precautions advised by the CDC, medical experts and the health department to prevent the spread of the virus. As you know, we are constantly cleaning and sanitizing all our offices, including frequently touched surfaces, work stations and public areas, and regular deep cleaning of the technical gear and equipment.”
As for Donald Trump, he continues to be at Walter Reed Medical Center where he is being cared for by a large team of doctors and nurses.
The White House released pictures of what they say is the President at hospital “working.”
In one photo, it appears that the President is just signing his name on a completely blank piece of paper.
One photo shows the President with his jacket on and the next photo shows Trump with his jacket off. Data embedded in the pictures appear to show that the photos were taken just 10 minutes part.
In other words, long enough to take his jacket off, change locations, and set out for a new shot.
The photos released by the WH tonight of the president working at Walter Reed were taken 10 minutes apart at 5:25:59 pm and 5:35:40 pm ET Saturday, according to the EXIF data embedded in both @AP wire postings that were shared by the White House this evening. pic.twitter.com/EzeqIkGdf7
