I Was Fired

Matt Rogers joined the KHQ (Spokane) news team in 1997.

After 23 years at the station (24 years in the business), Rogers said he had to do one of the most embarrassing things he has had to do since joining the station.

He had to walk into the newsroom and clean out his desk.

Rogers posted a video saying that he was fired.

“I’m still in shock…” he said on the video. He added that he wasn’t going to get into the reason he was fired just yet and will save that for another time.
