A House Tour?
/CBS News Anchor Norah O’Donnell decided to play the role of Joanna Gaines and show off the set that CBS will be using for election night.
O’Donnell shows us the “decision desk” where CBS’s election director Anthony Salvanto is standing there like a prop and moving things around on his monitor.
Not sure why they did this, but I can assure you after watching it, I don’t feel any urge to tune in on election night.
If you are doing this video for social media, why rush through it? Why not take the time to show viewers the set in-depth, and maybe even talk to Salvanto about his monitor and how it will be used on election night?
It seems to me that O’Donnell was asked after her newscast to give the social media team a tour of the set that they can post, and she decided to half-ass a quickly as she can tour so she could then get off to go to dinner.
Just saying….
ELECTION NIGHT HEADQUARTERS: @NorahODonnell gives a tour of the brand new CBS News Election Headquarters in New York City.
