Yesterday morning, FTVLive wrote, “NBC’s Kristen Welker hasn’t asked a single debate question and Donald Trump and his team are already attacking her.”

We said that Welker was a “solid Journalist” and despite the attacks from the Trump campaign, we felt she was up to the task.

And she was.

Welker is getting strong reviews for her handling of the debate, and even Chris Wallace, who moderated the first debate took notice. “I'm jealous," Wallace said. "I would've liked to have been able to moderate that debate and get a real exchange of views instead of hundreds of interruptions.”

In fact, after the debate, Trump nor his team leveled any attacks on the job Welker did.

Maybe they should apologize for attacking her before the debate even started.

Then again, Trump saying he’s sorry, and especially to a woman, we wouldn’t hold our breath.
