Not One, or Two, or Three, but 6 Positive Cases in Hubbard Station's Newsroom

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to tick up again, one Hubbard station’s newsroom has been hit particularly hard.

KSTP (Minneapolis) News Director Kirk Varner has been sending out internal memos that have the staff a bit on edge.

At least 6 staffers have tested positive for the ‘rona since the pandemic has started.

It seems that Varner has asked the staffers to be able to name them in his memos and that clearly helps people that may or may not have been around the infected person.

Most stations that have been sending out emails like this, but do not name the individual, due to HIPAA laws.

It appears that Varner is getting permission from the people to do so and that is making it better for nervous staffers.

Always best to give your staff as much information as you can.
