Talk about your October surprise…..

Early this morning, President Donald Trump said that both he and his wife have tested positive for the coronavirus.

Bumping around the internet and there are a number of people that wonder if the news is true?

Many are saying that Trump getting COVID is karma and much worse. The responses sum up how bitter and divided America has become.

Sadly, this is where we are right now.

Can Trump, who has told more lies than can be counted, be trusted with this news? Trump has made questionable statements about his health before and some wonder if there is another one?

I saw one post where someone said, “I think this might be an attempt to deflect from his downright embarrassment in the debate.”

But, then you have to ask, why would the President that has downplayed the virus since it came to the United States admit he has it if he doesn’t?

Trump has laughed at those wearing masks, has said that the virus is nothing, despite over 200,000 Americans dying and now he claims to have it.

We’re about a month until the election and if Trump follows the CDC guidelines, that means he will be in quarantine for about half of the time up until the election.

What about the next debate?

Will it happen?

There are a lot of questions and you can bet that cable news will be obsessing and guessing as to what will happen next?

As for the President, no matter which side you are on, you wish him well, just like you wish anyone else that is battling the virus.

FTVLive wishes the President and the First Lady well and we will be staying away from cable news for the next few days.
