Fired in Boston

FTVLive told you yesterday that WHDH Anchor Alaina Pinto was fired from the station for making an appearance in Adam Sandler’s Netflix movie “Hubie Halloween.”

Pinto took to social media to say she was was fired after appearing in the film and violating her contract.

The screenshot from the movie at the top of this page shows that Pinto character mocked news anchors and TV news in general.

Pinto her part in the movie back in the Summer of 2019, it started airing on Nextflix this month and that is when her bosses at the Boston station told her she was out.
