A couple of days ago, FTVLive told you that WIS (Columbia, SC) Anchor Kamie Roesler was busted by police in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and charged with aggravated assault.

Cops clamped the cuffs on Roesler after she reportedly hit a man over the head with a beer bottle.

Roesler is from North Dakota and was back visiting when the incident took place.

So, what caused the incident?

The guy that claims he was hit by Roesler says it was a political argument. 'They’re not in any type of relationship,' Sioux Falls police spokesman Sam Clemens said. 'The victim said that it was some type of political argument.'

Roesler has not posted to social media since her arrest, it appears that she is still employed by WIS.

Clearly, politics and beer do not mix.
