Back in November, FTVLive FIRST told you that Scripps train-wreck KJRH had sacked another News Director.

Scott Fitzgerald got whacked after less than a year at the Tulsa station.

At the time, FTVLive told you that Scripps was bringing in KMGH Assistant News Director Gerardo Lopez as the interim News Director and word is the job will be his soon.

Well, FTVLive nailed that one.

Here is the internal memo that went out to the staff at KMGH, telling them that Lopez is the new ND at KJRH:

In his social media post, Lopez tagged KDVR Anchor Michael Konopasek and it appears that he is also leaving, if I’m reading his post correctly:

Time will tell if Lopez can make it more than a couple of years at KJRH.
