We're All Going to Die!
/Depending on which cable news station you watch, we are either all going to die at the hands of Iran (CNN). Or, killing Iran military leader Qasem Soleimani was the greatest move ever made by a US President (Fox News).
For those of you watching cable news, you might be left wondering what the hell is going on and what should we be doing.
On CNN, we are hearing that we could all be bombed in a matter of days:
CNN’s National Security Reporter Kylie Atwood sent out this tweet:
Should an unbiased Reporter really be starting the tweet out with “Wow” or maybe just give the facts and let the viewer decide if it’s “Wow” or not?
Over at Fox News and Fox and Friends Ainsley Earhardt says that we need to trust our intelligence community's decisions.
Ainsley Earhardt finds it "so interesting" that people criticize "our intelligence community's decisions," because "everything can't be made public ... you just have to trust [them]." pic.twitter.com/DC50DHWgJ2

But, when our intelligence community said that Russia tried to meddle in our election, Earhart did not buy into that bit of intel.
Earhardt also says that “civilians who haven't fought for our country” are weighing in on this.

I’m sorry Ainsley, which war did you fight in again?
You are weighing in on this as a civilian and telling other civilians to stay in their lane.
Oh! That’s right, you served in the War on Christmas.
I stand corrected.
As the United States sits on the brink of war, cable news still continues to use the story as a political football and try to divide the country even more.
It would be nice if cable news could report the facts, let us know what is going on and leave their damn opinions out of it.
That way the viewer can decide what is happening?
