Another Year in Buffalo
/WKBW Anchor Keith Radford has inked a new one year deal with the Scripps station.
It seems like each year, Radford signs a one year deal and hints that this will be his last one. Then the next year, he signs a new one year deal. And again, he hinted that this might be it.
“I’ve been going year-to-year recently,” wrote Radford. “Will this be it? I think so but who knows. Never say never.”
Radford started working part time in 2019, anchoring at 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. He likes the arrangement in which he gets to work at 2:30 p.m. and leaves at 6:30 p.m. after the 6 p.m. newscast ends.
Radford joined Channel 7 from a Salt Lake City, Utah, station in 1987 and has been anchoring here ever since through the station’s highs and lows.
Tune in next year, when he signs a new one year deal and says, “this is it.”
