Tweet Deleted

WNBC (New York) came under fire for a tweet the station posted and then deleted.

Here is that tweet:

While there have been a number of attacks and threats against the Orthodox Jewish community, the NBC O&O called it “civic sparring.”

Needless to say, the Twitterverse was quick to respond:

WNBC deleted the tweet and followed up with this:

When you have a President that is calling the media the “enemy of the people” shit like this gives the Trumpets more ammunition.

I hope whomever is responsible for this tweet is dealt with and kept far away the station’s social media.
