Some Good News

Back in October, FTVLive told you that KSNV (Las Vegas) Anchor Michelle Velez revealed that she has a rare form of cancer and is going through treatment.

Well, we have some GREAT news!

Velez posted on her IG that after, “16 weeks of chemo, six hospital stays, eight blood transfusions, one shaved head later - and I can officially say I MADE IT! I’ve been through hell and back but I did it! I am finished with chemo!”

Yesterday she got to bang the gong and that is one awesome sound!

A stage IV #cancer diagnosis, 16 weeks of chemo, six hospital stays, eight blood transfusions, one shaved head later - and I can officially say I MADE IT! I’ve been through hell and back but I did it! I am finished with chemo! . . . Next step.. a PET scan. Once I get through that free and clear then I can officially say #cancerfree.
