It Happened Again...

Well, it happened again….

KTVB (Boise) Weather anchor Jim Duthie was giving the forecast and when it came to Monday, he said, “…and Monday, Martin Luther Coon day, King day….” You can see the clip at this link.

Looking at Duthie’s Facebook, he has not addressed the incident, but one viewer surely is asking him to.

One source tells FTVLive that Duthie did go on air to apologize, but we could not find it on the Tegna station’s website.

Last year at this time, WHEC (Rochester) Weatherman Jeremy Kappell made the same on-air mistake and it cost him his job and he has not worked in the business since.

He is suing his old station, the Mayor of Rochester and I’m not sure who else.

No word if Tegna is handing down any discipline on Duthie?
