When it comes to being a Journalist, the guidelines are not really that hard.

Report the story, tell all sides fairly and keep your opinion out of it.

Also, you’re a Journalist, not a salesperson or a model.

It seems that someone at Scripps has not explained that to WCPO (Cincinnati) Reporter Jasmine Minor.

Minor posted a beach shot to her Instagram which looked more like the pages of Maxim and then included a discount code, so viewers could their own swimwear cheaper by using the code “Jasmine” when they checkout.

And Scripps is OK with this?

Is there anyone that still wants to be a Journalist? Or, are people just using their TV news gig to help prop up their influencer status?

What the fuck is happening to this business?
