Married to the News

I have no problem with this station taking time out of the newscast to report that two of their staffers married each other.

I just want to know if they will do any on-air coverage if the two file for divorce.

Just saying…

This is the on-air story at KNSD in San Diego, about the two newsies get married In a beautiful ceremony.

It’s funny how station’s go out of the way to tell us about the personal lives of their staff when something a beautiful as a marriage happens, or an anchor has a baby.

But, when they leave the station, like KWQC (Quad Cities) Anchor Matt Hamil did….well….then we don’t talk about personal issues.

The hypocrisy that is TV news.
