Anchor Wears The Same Dress Every Year

CBS touted the fact that "CBS This Morning" celebrated eight years on the air Thursday.

Actually there was a “CBS This Morning” before it was called “The Early Show” but I’m guessing CBS is not counting that.

While the new "CBS This Morning" has been on the air for 8 years, only two things stayed the same. First off, Gayle King is the only one to make it all 8 years.

Others have come and gone. Norah O’Donnell went to CBS Evening News and Charlie Rose went to….. well….. you know.

The other thing that stayed consistent is the dress that Gayle King wears on the show’s anniversary. For 8 years, King has worn the same dress show's birthday.

She picked out the dress out before the show's debut in 2012. "It's like you're going to school for the first day and you gotta pick out a very special dress," she said, adding she knew she wanted to wear yellow, her favorite color.

"I only wear it here and I only wear it on this day," King said Thursday. "And I can still fit into it, I'm proud to say.”
