We have heard from a number of Nexstar employees that used to be Tribune employees and how their paychecks are screwed up.

It seems that Nexstar’s goal was to move all the old Tribune employees over to the Nexstar system by year’s end, but it is not exactly a smooth transition.

As one employee said, “disaster does not begin to describe how badly they screwed up.”

Many people working in one state were finding that their taxes were withheld for another state.

One staffer says that their, “state taxes were in Mississippi, while my school taxes were in Pennsylvania.” The employee has never lived or worked in either of those states.

Other employees are saying they did not get paid for vacation time over the holidays.

Some of the union employees are telling FTVLive that Nexstar is not taking out the union fees either.

“It is a total cluster fuck,” said one former Tribune/now Nexstar employee.

“I’m not sure I’m ever going to get what I am owned,” said another staffer.
