The FBI has arrested a U.S. soldier who allegedly discussed plans to bomb a major American news network, planned to travel to Ukraine to fight with violent far-right group Azov Battalion and allegedly distributed information online on how to build bombs.

He also allegedly suggested targeting Democratic presidential candidate Beto O'Rourke.

CNN claims that the soldier’s target network to bomb was CNN.

CNN boss Jeff Zucker sent out a memo saying, "I want to assure everyone that there was never any imminent threat to any CNN locations. We continue to actively monitor these issues on a daily basis and work closely with our security teams around the world and our partners in law enforcement."
