ToldJa! The Change Goes Down in Cleveland

Last week, FTVLive EXCLUSIVELY told you that Tegna’s WKYC in Cleveland was going to be changing the names of their newscasts and their logo:

Each newscast now has a name:

As FTVLIve FIRST told you the morning news from 4-7AM will be called “Go!”

The Noon News will be titled, “Lunch Break with Jay Crawford” No word what it will be called if Jay takes a day off?

The 6:00PM newscast will no longer be the 6PM newscast, it will now be, “What Matters Most.”

The 7PM News will be “Front Row”

And the 11PM newscast will be called “What’s Next”

When Russ Mitchell posted about the change on social media, one viewer pointed him to the FTVLive story that we posted and Mitchell responded:

The headline was what headlines are supposed to do, get people to click and read the story. Since this was the most-read story on FTVLive last week, we think the headline did its job.

By the way, Russ, notice I call you Russ and not the Anchor, despite that you refer to me as “the writer.”
