Changes to the News in B-More

Word is that CBS’s WJZ (Baltimore) is breaking up their hour long 6pm newscast.

For almost two decades the 6pm has been an hour long on the CBS O&O.

But, sources tell FTVLive that starting September 9, the CBS Evening News will be airing at 6:30 and WJZ will make up that half hour with a 7pm newscast.

One has to wonder if WJZ is making the change to try and help the struggling CBS Evening News with Norah O’Donnell?

CBS suits have been concerned with the low ratings with O’Donnell taking charge.
