EXCLUSIVE! Cleveland Station to No Longer Have Newscasts

Sources tell FTVLive that starting next week, Tegna’s WKYC in Cleveland will stop airing newscasts.

No, the news is not going away, it will just be rebranded under new names, which is so Tegna.

According to sources:

The morning news from 4-7AM will be called “Go!”

The Noon News will be titled, “Lunch Break with Jay Crawford” No word what it will be called if Jay takes a day off?

The 6:00PM newscast will no longer be the 6PM newscast, it will now be, “What Matters Most.”

The 7PM News will be “Front Row”

And the 11PM newscast will be called “What’s Next”

WKYC will also be getting a new logo, which is described as generic circle with the number 3.

Of course, all these changes will be worth an extra 10 ratings points and rocket the station to the top of the ratings.
