Anchoring The News and the Weather

FTVLive FIRST told you yesterday that former KPHO/KTVK (Phoenix) Anchor Brandon Lee was former no more.

After being gone from the station for almost a year, Lee popped up yesterday back on the Meredith duop anchoring the news.

Lee comes back as main Anchor, which includes him doing the 10PM newscast on KPHO.

Sean McLaughlin, who was doing the 10PM on KPHO, now moves over to sister station KTVK to Anchor the news and then at 10:30, he’s back to do the Weather.

The News Anchor doing weather might be a thing in market 150, but it’s hard to believe in is happening in market 12. Then again, this is TV news in 2019, where stations do more with less.
