DC Anchor Goes M-I-A During Newscast

Viewers watching WRC’s (DC) Saturday’s late newscast were a bit concerned when news Anchor Erika Gonzalez seemed to go missing after the first block.

The station went straight to Weather Anchor Somara Theodore out of the break and then did an extra long sports segment. The Sports Anchor then read the kicker, back for a weather recap and then the show was over.

Gonzalez was not seen after the early part of the newscast.

One viewer took to social media to express some concern as well:

We’re guessing that Erika Gonzalez was ill and left the set. She did not answer the poster and has not posted on her Twitter since last week.

Here’s hoping that all is OK?
