No Doubt?
/You can almost count on it anytime there is a mass shooting.
The rumors will circulate and often get reported on air that a “second suspect” might be involved in the shooting.
99% of the time this information is false and there is almost never a second shooter.
You see the mistake made over again and again in local TV News.
But, you would not expect to see this at the network like CBS News.
But this is the tweet that CBS sent out:
Interestingly, the tweet posted included a video of a police spokesperson talking and he basically said that there was not a second shooter.
But, CBS posted that cops say they have “no doubt” there was multiple shooters at the Walmart scene.
For those that listened to the sound, they knew that was the exact opposite of what the police said.
And this my friends is a network news outlet.
