Why?

Why is a TV station posting something like this, other than to stir the pot and try to get people responding back and forth to each other.

And that is exactly what it did:

This station knew the kind of replies it would get before they even made the post. But, they seemed happy enough to continue to try and divide people, all in an effort to boost their engagement.
