Viewer Throws Station's App in the Trash Bin

On Friday, FTVLive told you that Tribune’s KDVR/KWGN likes to send out push alerts that aren’t really alerts at all, but a complete waste of viewer’s time.

We showed you this “alert” that the station sent out:

It seems that at least some viewer in Denver agreed with FTVLIve’s story about how this station is just wasting viewer’s time and showing a lack of respect for the viewer.

A Denver area viewer sent along this message:

“I Had the FOX 31/ Colorado's Own Channel 2 app for a week and deleted it for the same types of reasons you mention. They send out so much useless crap it's laughable I got a push alert back in May about where the 'PinPoint Weather Beast' their mobile WX truck, was going to be located so viewers could get pics with it and then tag the photos with the hashtag #ISawTheBeast.

Most of my friends have the 9NEWS app (KUSA-TV) or the 7NEWS app (KMGH-TV) because they don't do push alerts for stupid crap. I personally have the updated 9NEWS app”
