People Killed....Smile!

Back in 2014, a Canadian Journalist was pestering CNN’s Anderson Cooper for a selfie at the scene of where a soldier was killed.

Cooper told the guy it was not the time or the place for a selfie when a soldier had just been killed. The guy continued to ask Cooper for the selfie and tried to shame him online.

Cooper shot back:

Fast forward to 2019 and El Paso, Texas. 22 people are killed in a Walmart and there is CNN Anchor Chris Cuomo all smiles and posing for selfies at the scene of the mass shooting.

If you work in TV news, please be more like Anderson Cooper and not Chris Cuomo.

And as Cooper says to the Canadian Journalist, we say to Cuomo: “I can't believe any station employs you, and if you want to be a journalist, learn how to behave when covering a story”
