WTTG (DC) General Manager Patrick Paolini Jr did not play a single second of the Women’s World Cup, but that did not stop the GM for taking at least some of the credit for the team winning:

Of course, it is very likely that this tweet will not age very well.

Paolini is a big Trump supporter and often expresses his conservative views on his social media.

So, if Trump invites the US Women’s team to the White House and they decline. you can bet that will have Paolini’s panties in a knot.
