As CNN gets ready to hold the Democratic Debate for the 2020 Presidential hopefuls, it seems one candidate has the blessing of CNN President Jeff Zucker.

Back when Zucker was running NBC into the ground, he told guests at a breakfast at NBC’s Rockefeller Plaza, “Kamala is not just important for the city of San Francisco, the state of California, but for the entire country,” Zucker said.

Now, you would think that a guy running a network, would not be so open with his support of a politician. Then again, we are talking Jeff Zucker.

This is the guy that has taken CNN from a news network to a liberal leaning channel that spends hours everyday attacking Donald Trump and the GOP.

A CNN spokeswoman confirmed the 2009 breakfast.

“Jeff hosted a small breakfast in New York for Kamala Harris when she was the District Attorney of San Francisco,” says Allison Gollust, chief spokesperson for CNN and who was also working at NBC at the time. “He was then CEO of NBC Universal, and was introducing the DA to some of his colleagues in an informal setting. He has seen her a handful of times in the last 10 years, all in his capacity as a journalist. His relationship with the senator is no different than any other national politician, and he has never endorsed her, or anyone, in any ca‎pacity.”

Obviously, Zucker is not unbiased and neither is CNN.

It is so sad to see how he ruined a cable news channel that was once high in the ratings and held in high regard.

Now, it’s in last place in the ratings and is used as a punchline in many jokes.

And yet….somehow, Jeff Zucker still has a job.
