Resurfacing in Philly

Howard Monroe joined Fox’s WJZY (Charlotte) two years ago as the Weekend Morning Anchor.

But, while his bio is still listed on the station’s website, it appears that Monroe is gone from the station.

Sources tell FTVLive that Monroe popped up doing a report for CBS’s KYW in Philly.

His first report for the CBS O&O was about how the City of Philadelphia is naming a street after singer Patti LaBelle.

No word if he’s freelance or full-time at the CBS station, but it appears he is out of the Fox food chain after two years.
