We've Come a Long Way Baby...

Back in the day when I worked at KTUL in Tulsa, I shot the news on a TK-76 which was connected to a deck and you wore the battery belt around your waist.

All told, the gear checked in at over 100 pounds.

Compare that to this picture of a KOTV (Tulsa) MMJ reporting on report of a man who had been convicted of a murder he didn’t commit, was released from prison after 28 years behind bars.

I bet if I got to use this as my camera setup, I would not have the back issues I have today.
