Yesterday, FTVLive told you that fired WGCL Weatherman Paul Ossman is suing the Meredith station for “racially and ethnically discriminatory termination,” and accusing the Meredith station of fostering a “racially hostile work environment.”

WGCL GM Lyle Banks sent an email to the staff saying why Ossman was fired.

Normally stations hide behind, “we don’t talk about personnel issues” but in this case, Banks shared the firing reasons with the entire staff.
