Beau Signs Off in the Burgh

WTAE (Pittsburgh) Reporter Beau Berman has left the station and the broadcasting industry altogether.

Berman is joining the Neshannock Township School District in Lawrence County to help launch the district's digital video production program.

"My decision to leave WTAE stems from my desire to give back," Berman stated on Facebook. "As a proud proud public school graduate myself, I'm looking forward to shaping tomorrow's leaders, and maybe even a inspiring a new journalist or two."

Berman joined WTAE in April 2015 after working at WTIC-TV in Hartford, CT. He also has worked at KOSA-TV in Odessa, TX and was an adjunct professor of journalism at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT.
