Recently Tegna’s teamed up with the Calder Sloan Awesome Foundation at risk and homeless children, by giving them backpacks stuffed with things they can use.

Tegna recently had their News Director’s, CSDs, GMs, and digital execs in Houston for their “Content Summit.”

While they were all in town, the Tegna suits took time to pack up the backpacks and help hand them out at the Boys and Girls club.

Not only did Tegna put up some money, but employees (and this was management mind you) took time to help fill the backpacks and hand them out.

Good for Tegna and their executives to pitching and helping those that need it.
