What's That Smell Coming From NBC's Today Show?
/NBC’s Today Show sat down with Actors Russell Crowe and Sienna Miller to talk about the Showtime series The Loudest Voice which chronicles Roger Ailes rise and fall at Fox News.
It was interesting to watch NBC promote a show about Ailes’ and his sexual misconduct. You have to wonder if Showtime did a series about Matt Lauer and the allegations against him, would they bring the actors on to talk about it?
Also, Naomi Watts, who plays Gretchen Carlson, worked with Harvey Weinstein in the past, as did Russell Crowe and they never brought that up.
Of course, you may remember that NBC is accused of spiking Ronan Farrow’s story on Weinstein and the sexual misconduct allegations against him.
It’s not that Savannah Guthrie and the Today Show should not have interviewed the actors, but you would think they would have been a but more transparent in doing so.
Sorry, this one did not pass the sniff test.
