It's a Date

Incoming CBS Evening News Anchor Norah O'Donnell has been crisscrossing the country visiting the CBS affiliates, to press the flesh and shoot promos with the local anchors.

But, that’s about to end as CBS has announced that starting July 15th, O'Donnell will debut as the new CBS Evening News Anchor, from Washington, DC.

"What happens here impacts the country and the world. We are going to provide context, depth and analysis," O'Donnell said during a recent visit to Washington, D.C., CBS affiliate WUSA-TV. "What we want to do at the 'CBS Evening News' is be a source of information, not affirmation."

No doubt that line was a big dig at Fox News, MSNBC and CNN.
